Reaching the mid-point of my project, I wanted to create a mind-map to lay out my ideas and try narrow down a more specific route to focus on as I work on this project for the remaining 6 weeks. At this point, I have a large number of different aspects happening in my project, from exploring the connections between environments, people, objects, time periods, and community. While it was proactive and necessary for me to explore a number of directions for this project, I now need to create a singular focus to explore deeper and create work centred around specifically.

While each section seems fairly different, I think the idea of using both environments, people, and objects could work together without becoming too lost. Each element inherently connects to one another - indoor environments are successful due to the objects and people inside of them, so linking those three ideas into an indoor vs outdoor focus is my intention. I think it also gives me a broad enough space to explore more creative approaches in my work while remaining focused on the sole idea of connection. I can also re-visit the concept as a whole further along the line, around 3-4 weeks before the deadline and asses my work at that point to narrow down the scape of contents even further.
